Open a new internet browser and open the web page that you want to add to your favorites.

On the upper LEFT corner are two stars. Click on the FIRST star.
A cookie is something that the internet will store for you. Logins, passwords, etc for pages that you visit often. For example, anytime a webpage asks you if you want it to remember your username/password, a cookie is created.

An internet homepage is the main page of any internet website. From the homepage, you can make selections to visit subsections of that particular site or use it as a launch pad to visit another website.
You can pre-set your internet browser to automtically open a homepage like AOL.com, CNN.com, Yahoo, a bank, etc.
First, choose a website that you visit everyday. For example, everytime that I turn on my internet, I have it pre-set to open www.foothillstechnology.com and the radio station that I listen too as the office.
Open your internet browser by double clicking on your internet icon.
Open your internet browser. On the upper RIGHT side is box labeled TOOLS.
To open an internet broweser, double click on your internet providers internet tab on the desktop or select thru your start menu.

Search engines are a great tool to find information on just about any topic you can dream off. There are many engines out there but perhaps the most popular ones include Google, Yahoo, Ask.com, LiveSearch.com too name a few. Search engines are internet programs that act as a "seeker" of information on the world wide web.
